(repost from what was lost during the server switch)
I saw this usefull piece of rusty metal on the side of the road by my house while on the way to work. I called up my wife and she drug our son out of bed and hooked up the trailer and loaded this all by herself.

while I wish I had 2 with half the volume, I could use for engine part storage that one is too big. I plan on using it for firewood storage, unless I come up with something better.

So I picked up this shrinker and stretcher for $50 figuring that was a screaming deal for even a HF set because they never come up used. Imagine my pleasure when I found out they are USA made!

Yup, those are the "real deal" -- very good equipment. Congratulations, those are a true find.

a few finds from a garage sale Saturday.
some rail to make ASO's from.
a few 199 box cutters, and some solder.

I need another electric sander like I need a hole in my head, but for $3.50 for a crown logo craftsman, I had to pick it up.

So the clutch is getting pretty bad in my daily driver. Apparently it is a weak link from the factory. Designed for the lighter weight corolla with a lower output engine. In my heavier Matrix wagon with the high output engine, I am lucky to have had it last this long.  I bought an EXEDY racing clutch as a replacement.

I was going to weld up something but I am on a weight restriction of 15 lbs and I am trying to get other crap accomplished. I decided to use one of my precious 25% coupons on this. For $60 it saves me a lot of effort, and I can loan it out to friends.

I am actually calling in favors as I can’t do much with my weight restriction. My shop my tools, good friends to have.

I have that bar and it's very well made. Yes, it's HF branded, but many other companies import the exact same model and charge double, even triple, for it.

for what its doing I could have went the Bubba route and used a 4x4 wood post but I figure this wont be the only time I need it.

I have been wanting a 3 point cement mixer but I just haven't found a good deal, but I found a good old heavy duty electric mixer for $100. that is about the cheapest you can buy one used. so this followed me home (literally, on my trailer)

so I got these the other day at a garage sale. $1 total.

today I found this for $5,  for size comparison they are 5 lb spools of solder not one pound.

this is what I worked on this weekend.

I am taking it easy so my knee will heal.
