I m getting to the point where ludicrous displays of ostentatiousness just make me ill.
3 years ago I was fat dumb and happy working a job I liked, getting things straightened away to start saving some money. Now when I see shit like that it just pisses me off.

Sorry FFlint I have to disagree.

THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME STUFF I HAVE EVER SEEN.  :worship:  :worship:

He made his money, let him spend it the way he wants. He employed hundreds of people building that Glory Hole.

That is the stuff we go to work for, in our own little way.  :beerdude:

That it what YOU get to go to work for, my career went overseas.
He may have employed hundreds yes, great for them, HE didn’t employ me.
I’m all for people spending money they make honestly. For all I know when he sold his company it was gutted and everyone laid off.
I can be pissed when somebody pisses away more money on an elevator for their garage than you and I will ever make. I worked 32 years living the American dream, now I can’t get a Friging stress test to figure out why I can’t walk 50 feet without being out of breath. you can feel however you want about it, I chose to be sickened by it.

Sorry FFlint I choose to be motivated by it. I would love to have Jay Leno's car collection. I would love to buy what ever I want. I can't right now , but This is America and you never know what can happen. That is my opinion and I am sticking with it.

The Pilgrims didn't step off the boat and ask for their neighbors to give them Health Care or a good paying job.

This is getting twisted so I will say,

God bless the American Free Trade System that has made people free from Tyranny.

Neither did I. as I said I was fat dumb and happy working for 32 years.

Unfortunately for me I do one thing very well and not much else.
Sorry I am not trying to be a whiner, but I have had a string of bad luck the last year. In general I have tried to keep a positive attitude. When I woke up last Tuesday short of breath and not able to do a dam thing about it, it is kind of the straw that broke the camels back.

I can read your frustration. I have changed my career unexpectedly. It sucks. Thankfully I was young. I have had to move to follow  work. And now I have to travel for work. I hate it but it pays the bills and my good looks don't buy as much as they used to.  :lollol:

Try and keep a good outlook on things. Letting it get the best of you is not an option.
