checking in
« on: December 03, 2011, 02:09:32 PM »
I have been far too busy lately with Dr.'s and therapy the appointments have me bouncing around so much that some are doing no good / adding stress / migraines.

Pain is my key number one thing now to work on my hip and head , I found out a month ago that I have a tear and a bone spur in my rt hip and likely has been there since 2003  accident . I have been ignoring the pain, stiffness and the clicking  all this time , I have only been able to recognize the pain because of my migraine treatments they have re-tought me to stop ignoring pain. Eventually  I will have my hip scoped , when we can book a window of time of 4-6 months for recovery.   Migraines were under control but are starting to ram up again as i am out of visits for the year for that therapy. I have also been for speech and occupational therapy  to help with the post concussion complications that added a lot of stress in to the mix that i just cut off ( too much bouncing from app to app)

Nice to have you back "B" -- so sorry for all your medical problems. I hope you find some relief during the holiday season.

Did you have a bike accident that caused all this pain and debilitation?

I was busy on the weekends with cross season too

concussion and hip problems all stem from a bike accident in 2003 it was not until 2006 that I finally got some real help from a Dr. it took a long time to get things rolling it all came together in late 2009 ; pain Dr, state programs etc

The rehab stuff gets old fast. I've been on both sides of it. Some of the physical rehab could qualify as torture.
