I tried using some raw shrimp hoping to attract catfish but no luck, I plan to get a depth finder soon so I can find the deep water and then maybe I can locate them

In this heat you really need to find the deep spots.

I was wondering it didn't look big enough to be 300 HP, I bet that boat would be dangerous for the first 30 seconds with 300 Hp until the transom got stove in. FM is that boat Aluminum? My got a 15' Crestliner about 1959 which was Aluminum but you could see the rivets.

Fins, 1960 was the first year Crestliner had a design not to show the rivets. If you enjoy learning  about the old crestliners and other boats from the 60s google "crestliner restorations" the first link listed is the one you want.
