lots of different equipment I am multifaceted when it come to shop time I am an auto mechanic, bicycle mechanic, machinist, carpenter, mason, plumber, electrician , I only use to me what is the highest quality I can afford for tools, tooling or machines I rather do with out then to have a cheap tool fail, there is always more then one way to do a job.   Many of my tools have been passed down to me from friends, family and neighbors I rather have a tool with soul then a new shiny unproven tool.

I used a sony dcs 1 for this I have a lot of adjust-ability in the settings internally it is an older  digital p7s camera , I do not know what I am going to do when it dies. I have something like 250k shots I have done with this camera

Occasionally I use a cool pix a bit simpler model not the easiest to use for quick pictures I carry it in my daily travels.

My favorites are my SLR  Pentax ME super, MG and an MV I have an f1.2 50mm , f3 135, Pentax lenses I also have a f3 200 mm Vivatar lens. If i ever get the funds I am going to get a Pentax dslr

I am a strong believer in experimentation with new P&S long before any shots will be keepers there are a lot of settings to be tried out and dialed in well before any decent shots can happen.  Most p&s best mode is in landscape with some white balance adjustment, focus point adj, and exposure great photos can be had. The unfortunate part about today's p7s is they are becoming less controllable to lower cost and add more pixels most i look at or have to adjust for friends do not allow for macro in landscape this kills the depth of field in the settings that do allow macro.

I'm a Canon guy, the older Pentax glass was some good stuff. That Sony was a successor of the Minolta DSLR's wasn't it.
