Here's some of mine ---

HF Box has my general mechanics tools (love the HF box!!) :Danceparty:

My vintage late 1970's Craftsman Pro (actually Waterloo) houses all my specialty tools and 3/4" drive sockets sets

The cheap HF box is a platform for my alternator tester and contains my handheld body repair tools, rasps and sanding boards.

I have the HF box also. I can't say enough good things about this box. $919.00 out the door is one hell of a price for a box of this quality. 10x better than ANY Craftsman box out there. At least the ones in the stores. I've never seen the one's that go for big bucks in the catalog.

I agree, but it's sad to say. Craftman boxes used to be "The" best value in tool storage. That C-man pro box in my pic above was the biggest model that Sears sold back in 1979. It was called "Sears Best" and sold for $650. Quite a lot of money back then, but when you consider that comperable MAC and MATCO boxes were $250 more; that was a deal.

Now HF has the best deal in tool storage -- that box is professional quality.

B is that a Jensen box in your pic? It looks like the ones we used to order from Jensen for comm work.

Chicago case special edition they were blowing them out ( $100 shipped for a 350+ case) last year they sent me an e-mail and I set it out to the all the neutral service mechanics they went from 300 in stock to none in stock in less than a day. Chicago found out I was the reason for there great sale and tried to send me a shallow version and another like I bought as thanks I refused the offer as what i got was a deal they never even charged me for the upgraded winged pallet in the first place. I will buy one of there cases again  for domestic use if I happen to end up in Europe some day it will be  pelican or storm case.

If you like that you will love my parts cases Calzone cases i saved for the dumpster from a major publisher only issue they had were small crack on the skins. ( bad for PC shipping)

Finally got some garage space to put some stuff in.  The blue kobalt box I've had since 1999.  I actually drove a few hundred miles because it was on clearance at a Lowe's.  It's 41" wide, but very shallow (I think only 18")
The yellow cornwell I just bought used.  I think it's 30-something inches wide, but about 21" deep.

$750 for both boxes - what do you guys think?

That is a very good score for two boxes. The older Kobalt units were very nice and IIRC -- still made in the US.

I always did really like that style of Cornwell. The Kobalt is a very nice box as well.

I like the colors.  If I drove a racecar my sponsor would be Napa!
