$4 Scrusher for cheapskates
« on: January 11, 2010, 12:57:58 AM »
Made a shoe scrubber for $4.00.
Bought some bathtub brushes from the dollar store, $1 each, and attached them to some old scrap wood.

I copied the Scrusher one, which is $35

I'm pretty sure I'm the cheapest person I know

Looks very useful and better than $35.

I made several of those some time ago. They seemed to disappear from the front porch, so I quit.

Thank you.  I'm very proud of that.  The dollar store and Big Lots are my favorite places.

Family Dollar and Dollar General are definitely not as good (don't know if you guys have those where ever you are)

You might be surprised how much stuff is actually Made in the USA at the dollar store...

thanks for the tip.  I'll check it out.

By the way, they have some pretty good spray bottles, made by Sprayco.

The handle is long, giving good leverage, so less fatigue.  With minimal effort it probably squirts a "stream" like 10 ft.
