Nothing too fancy here. Kind of messy at the moment.

Nice design. My dream is a similar size but w/out the third door at left. Just extra room for shelving, workbench etc...

I really like the mussed look. The sterile ones leave me cold.  What good is a garage you are afraid to get dirty?

Thank for the compliments fellas. I hope it gets better soon. Planning on running air lines as soon as I get a free weekend and some honey dew's done. Then it's going to get drywalled and painted. Here a few more pics of some stuff that's around.

It probably takes a bit once ran down. But for a home setup I bet it works great.

So did it surprise you that I was the first to comment on the drill press?

I like the tire changer. I'm looking for a Coats 40-40 series myself. Love the old pneumatic changers --

Thanks for comments fella's!

GF- It's an old Hoffman tire changer. It has an electric turn table. Very quiet and very strong. Sometimes with the old pneumatic ones it that they startt to loose some of there cahones. If you can find someone willing to part w/ an old 40-40 for a good price get it! The nice thing w/ the mag style machines is you can be much kinder to mag/aluminum wheels. If you get a tire changer for small stuff (i.e. golf carts/whell barrows/ATV's you can make a base and clamp it down on the mag style machine.

The drill pres is an old Delta. It came out of a friends shop. He had a couple of them and was going to give it to his sister. I put a set of tires on for him and next thing you know he bring it my way instead. Just lucky I guess. Another friend gave me the old grinder as well. Once again I put on a set of tires. See a pattern here?

I'll get around to putting up some more stuff if you guys want to see. I am swamped at work right now and don't expect to be free for any quality garage time until Thanksgiving. (Damn inspections) I have a cabinet down in the basement that I think you all will get a kick out of. I'll see if I can get that this weekend.

Finall got some more pics! I got this cabinet froma Buick dealership I used to work at. We got bought out and had to move to a different shop and the service manager told me to get rid of it. One of the guys really wanted the valve lathe on top of it. The lathe worked but was missing about 90% of it's parts. (Which reminded me that he told me to get rid of the tire changer a Coats 40-40. Another guy had it on his truck in a matter of minutes) So years later I decided to mount my reloader on it. It has worked out great as this cabinet is heavy and stable. I want to put it on to a mobile work base for ease of getting around when it needs to be moved. The tool holders are still in place on the door and inside. The guides and stones were long gone when I found this buried in the back store room at the dealership. Hope you like.

Great photos I especially like the drill press and loader. What are you set up to do? I've got my Dad's stuff still in boxes. I've plenty of rounds for now.

Bet that oil free compressor didn't last long trying to fill that big tank, They only have a single leather ring  on the piston. and they don't last filling the tank they came with much less a bigger one.

Believie it or not it's still kicking after all these years. Maybe subconsciously I am hoping it will fail and I am stuck going out and getting a new one. I have started and stopped it so it doesn't have to do it all in one cycle. It is nice to have all of the extra air when you are running the air ratchet that gobbles it up.

On another note I am almost done with the insulation in the walls and have contacted a drywall guy about getting it finished. I hope to have some pictures sometime after the 1st of the year. I don't think I can get too much done at the moment. Normal reasons kids, work, honey-do's and holidays.

Trying to fix things before winter is killing me. This weather up here isn't helping any at all.

Just an update with a few pictures. I had the place drywalled. What a difference. The guys that came in were pretty amazing. I now know why I will never do drywall for a living. Now the tough task of putting it all back together.

I think I know what you are asking. It's a tractor canopy. I got it for my tractor but found out that when my ROPS bar is up I can't get into the garage with it up. So I sold it to a neighbor.
He has a Kubota as well. His wife cuts the grass in the summer and I was telling them how great it was to keep the sun off of you.
Well then they saw me flipping the ROPS bar w/ the canopy on it up and down and finally ask why I was doing it and I explained that my door wasn't tall enough.
Well there barn door is. I took a small hit on it but I was tired of tripping over it. I'll figure something in the spring.
