I kind of agree with your pick. The old Rovers were great. I just don't care for the luxury models made now.
Just what I was thinking; can't imagine one of them winching itself up a tree like in "The Gods Must Be Crazy".

Just bought one I have been looking for forever..
1992 s10 ext cab 4x4 4.3 with a nv3500 5 speed.

Factory equipped with a trailer tow package and factory wired for a trailer brake setup
,heavy duty 1600 lbd payload rear springs

Where is the gauges?

Ohh here they are.

Engine oil cooler, and has a huge ass power steering cooler

someone ordered it with NON variable rate steering box and no cruise  :mob2: but got a/c and power door locks and windows..and the factory am/fm/cassette /equalizer radio..kinda weird.

only bad thing is it came from Wva. so it has a couple of slightly crusty parts, but nothing that can't be cleaned and saved.

These TBI 4.3's only had 160 hp, but you have to remember the tbi 350's only made 190 ..lol so In a lighter truck it is peppy, I've never driven a 5 speed one but I always wanted one, and this one is a rocket compaired to the automatics I drove, course the 3.42 gears help.

I've had several Blazers with the 4.3's. I've always liked the engine. Now changing plugs on them is a pain in the ass.

I didn't know they only had 160 hp, We had an old one at work with an auto and you could light the tires up for ever.  Light truck I guess.  My son had one in a S 10 blazer and it pulled well, the gas mileage sucked.
